Dr. Greg Yasuda utilizes a truly holistic approach to caring for his patients. Beyond managing the symptoms of disease, he also seeks to identify and remedy the causative factors that allowed the illness to manifest in the first place. This can only be accomplished by taking the time to look past his patients’ diagnoses to see the whole person and consider how all aspects of their life impact their health. Through this process, Dr. Yasuda helps patients restore their own innate regulatory mechanisms and guides them on their path towards a state of greater freedom and wholeness. Because Dr. Yasuda works to individualize the care he provides, he utilizes a variety of therapies including herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, and visceral manipulation. He also works with his patients to help them learn skills that they can use to keep themselves well, so they can spend less time in the doctor’s office and more time doing the things they love.
In private practice near Seattle’s University District, Dr. Yasuda is also adjunct faculty at Bastyr University where he has taught Rheumatology; Gastroenterology; Ears, Eyes, Nose, and Throat; Naturopathic Manipulation One; and Myofascial Analysis.
